Eligibility
Hong Kong resident with valid Hong Kong Identity Card (HKID);
Preferably aged 30 or under at the time the scholarship commences; and
Have completed undergraduate study majoring in music at a university in Hong Kong

Applicants must provide accurate and complete information. Failure to provide relevant information will affect the progress of their application.

Scanned copies of academic certificates and music qualifications
The music scores and audio recordings in MP3 or MP4 format of three original compositions of diverse styles or media of expression written by himself/herself
Confidential statements from two referees which should be sent directly to the office by the closing date
Selection Process
All applications will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee which will be based on the musical talents as well as academic and personal qualities of the candidates; and their expected future contribution to Hong Kong after graduation.
Preference will be given to applicants studying abroad for the first time.
Selection will be based on merit and very high standards will be expected of the successful candidate. The Scholarship Committee reserves the right not to award any scholarship in any given year if candidates are judged not to have sufficient merit.
The decisions of the Scholarship Committee are final. In no circumstance will the Committee be required to explain to applicants or their representatives why any application has or has not been successful.
