The Godfather of Cantopop Mr. Joseph Koo has composed more than 1,100 works in a great variety of styles and genres. In 1973, he wrote the first ever Cantonese theme song “Fatal Irony” for a popular TV drama series and triggered off the trend of Cantopop in Hong Kong. Besides numerous hits written for TV dramas, his works also include film scores and title theme songs, pop songs for recording artists, children songs and commercial jingles, etc.
